The Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO) booth at the Natural Product Expo West was a huge success for both GFCO and the companies who took advantage of the opportunity to have their products showcased in our booth. Information and goods from seven GFCO certified companies were on display at the GFCO booth on the main exhibit floor. Through their partnerships with GFCO and the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG), these partner’s products were front and center for the the largest ever Expo West audience of over 77,000 attendees. Participating companies this year included Better Bites Bakery, Caboose Spice & Company, Happy Campers Baking, Jamba Fruit Snacks, La Fortaleza, SoyJoy, and Whole Note Gluten-Free Baking Mixes.
“Every year, we give our certified companies the opportunity to be part of our booth at Expo West,” says Channon Quinn, VP of Food Safety for GIG. “We design our booth to include shelf space where companies who may not have the resources to have their own booth can display their products for this huge audience.”
Natural Products Expo West/Engredea, produced by New Hope Natural Media, was held March 9th-13th at the Anaheim Convention Center. The largest in its 36-year history, the sold out trade-only event was host to more than 3,000 companies and 77,000 attendees.
